We would like to thank our donors for thier continued support of Friends of Aabroo. Their generosity allows us to feed and educate thousands of deserving students.Here are just a few of the programs we have implemented this past year!
New Masjid
A newly completed masjid is now open at the main campus, supporting the tarbiya program where students learn Islamic values and etiquette.
Peace Home
Aabroo’s orphanage, also located at the main campus, currently houses 50 boys and girls. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and professionally managed.
Vocational Training
In the Girls Secondary School, Aabroo has established a craft and sewing training and production space. Students now have the opportunity to learn sewing, crocheting, and other handmade craft making in addition to their regular lessons. All supplies and training are provided free of cost, and the students receive small commissions for every item they create and produce.
While Aabroo works hard to be self-sustaining, we still need your support. Currently, our operating budget is funded as follows:
- 35%: Waste recycling program
- 10%: Farm produce sales (milk, eggs, etc.)
- 55%: Generous donors like you
Support Us
Running nine schools and providing uniforms, food, and education for over 5,000 students is a massive undertaking.
