Ramadan Food Distribution

Orphans and extremely poor students and their families are provided with basic food items for Ramadan. This helps them to be able to fast during this Holy month.

2018-Ramadan “40-days, 5-times Congregational Prayer” Program

This was launched for the first time last year and was very successful.  Twenty-two senior boys from the vicinity of Aabroo School completed the program and were given prizes like bicycles, wrist watches, Eid clothing, cash, etc. Suhoor and iftar were also arranged for the participants.

Higher Secondary Classes

Higher Secondary Classes were initiated for the Matriculation Examination graduates of Aabroo Welfare Schools, as well as other students with high marks but low financial resources. Insha Allah, twenty five students will sit for the F.A./F.Sc. Part-1 examination in June 2019.

Hifz Program

Dar-e-Arqam Schools have agreed to start Hifz & Nazira Qur’an classes at Aabroo schools. There are 660+ Branches of Dar-e-Arqam Schools with more than 175,000 students in 150 cities of Pakistan. They will also provide teacher training to Aabroo staff and will provide regular monitoring of the quality of teaching.

Waste Recycle Program

Since 2007, Aabroo has been collecting recyclable waste from 8,000 households on a weekly basis which is sorted and sold to recycling factories. This not only generates funds for 30% of monthly school expenses, it also helps the environment by reducing waste. Our teams visit various universities, colleges, and schools to motivate the youth to participate.

Graduates of Aabroo Welfare Schools have earned innumerable successes over the last seven years. They have achieved high marks in both the Punjab Examination Commission and Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education-Lahore exams. MashaAllah, some of our graduating students are studying in Medical College and Engineering University. Around 20 of our graduates have returned as teachers working in our Primary Schools.
